OneRepublic tour builds IEM workflow around Wisycom

On OneRepublic’s international tour, monitor engineer Chris Marinaccio is using a Wisycom wireless in-ear monitoring system. Built around MTK952 dual transmitters, MPR50 IEM receivers and ADB3 omnidirectional antennas, the setup is being used across RF environments in Europe, the U.S., Australia and Asia.

Upstairs at Ronnie's builds wireless chain around Shure

Ronnie Scott’s in London’s Soho has equipped its new 140-capacity Upstairs at Ronnie’s room with Shure SLX-D+ and Axient Digital PSM. The venue pairs those systems with a Yamaha S3X grand piano and a d&b sound system in a digital mic-to-monitor chain.

Sony launches IER-M500 in-ear monitors for live use

Sony’s pro-audio division has entered the in-ear monitor market with the IER-M500. Although priced as an entry-level model, it is being positioned as a professional stage monitoring tool rather than a consumer crossover product, with attention to fit stability and isolation.

Colorado Symphony deploys Sensaphonics 3DME across its full-time orchestra

Colorado Symphony has equipped its full-time musicians with Sensaphonics 3DME Active Ambient in-ear monitoring systems through a hearing conservation initiative developed with the Marion Downs Center. The deployment of 100 systems was funded by a donation in memory of Penny Burke and included on-site hearing assessments, ear impressions and fittings.
