Hanover-area rental company Swift Eventtechnik has added 16 VIO L1608 modules, S218 and S118R subwoofers, plus X310, X206 and X12 point-source cabinets. After comparisons, it moved on from the VIO L208 platform adopted in 2025 and placed its principal PA inventory within one family.
The attraction was not output alone. Swift cites greater headroom and sound quality with familiar handling, while self-powered cabinets remove conventional amplifier racks. A2NET can carry audio and network data over one cable, a meaningful operational gain for a mid-sized provider working with limited crew and transport.
A common platform can be reconfigured for clubs, civic festivals, corporate work and gala events while retaining the same controls and spares. It also deepens dependence on one manufacturer, so parts supply, repair turnaround and access to compatible cross-hire stock remain part of the long-term calculation.
