A dBTechnologies VIO system covered the three-day event marking the 40th anniversary of Congress Center Ramstein. The outdoor site around the Azur leisure pool culminated in a BossHoss performance for approximately 5,000 people.
Six VIO L1610 and four VIO L208 modules formed the main arrays, with additional L208s assigned to front and side fill. Sixteen VIO S218 subwoofers were arranged cardioid, combining different array formats to match throw and audience geometry.
The system was simulated and approved by the touring production before the event. Rational Acoustics Smaart handled onsite alignment, while Aurora Net provided control and monitoring. The workflow shows the verification expected when a local PA must meet an incoming tour's technical requirements.
