Bose Professional has completed its acquisition of Fulcrum Acoustic, effective immediately. Fulcrum will retain its name, employees, and development and manufacturing operation in Whitinsville, Massachusetts.
Fulcrum brings high-output point-source loudspeakers and subwoofers for theatres, stadiums, and worship, alongside technologies including Transverse Modeled Array and Temporal Equalization. The portfolio broadens Bose Professional beyond its established commercial-install base into larger performance applications.
The announcement also confirms that the Bose Professional name will begin transitioning to 802 LABS in early 2027. This is therefore both a product and manufacturing acquisition and part of a wider corporate identity change. Keeping Fulcrum intact reduces disruption for its existing integrators and customers.
