Madison Modern Social in Old Bridge, New Jersey, has installed permanent 1 SOUND loudspeaker systems. Because the venue shifts from daytime dining to jazz and DJ programming at night, Global AV Group and B|R Hospitality based the design on distributed coverage.
Cannon C8 loudspeakers and SUB310 subwoofers form the main restaurant system. Distributing the C8 units around the room and adding low-frequency support allows the same installation to handle background playback for seated service and the stronger music programme later in the day. The approach brings sources closer to listeners instead of concentrating output in one large system.
The connected OLS speakeasy has also opened, using Contour CT28 systems, custom-finished Cannon C8 loudspeakers, and SUB310 subwoofers. The loudspeaker format changes with the space, while products from the same manufacturer provide continuity between the rooms.
The project report describes consistent coverage and sonic character, with energy that can change through the day. The C8 and CT28 systems radiate into the audience areas and the SUB310 units carry the bass, making the loudspeaker system a central part of the venue's transition between operating modes.
The report does not specify loudspeaker quantities, amplifier and processor configuration, or the zoning method. It also provides no measured sound-pressure distribution or frequency response. Statements about coverage and sound quality therefore remain assessments from the project participants; the documented evidence is the model selection and division of roles between the spaces.
