Pliant Technologies introduced CrewCom Flex at InfoComm as an expansion of its established CrewCom wireless intercom line. The platform combines wired panels, desktop panels, wired beltpacks and browser- or app-based virtual intercom panels, with deployment options for cloud-native or local infrastructures.
The platform centers on the CrewCom Flex Main Panel CKP-16 and Desktop Panel CDP-16, with expansion panels available for custom user stations. Each panel and desktop panel operates as an intelligent distributed matrix rather than relying on a central hardware frame, and the system supports AES67, SMPTE ST 2110 and ST 2022-7 redundancy. New CrewCom Flex BeltPacks are offered as the two-channel CBP-22 and four-channel CBP-24, both with integrated microphones and speakers for headset-free communication when needed.
For production teams managing remote or distributed communications, CrewCom Flex Virtual Intercom adds browser-based VoIP panels in 4-, 8-, 16- and 36-key layouts across PCs, Macs, tablets and mobile devices. Existing CrewCom wireless systems can be tied in through the 32×32 Dante/AES-67 Digital Audio Network Interface CXD-32CF, which provides routing and expansion into and out of CrewNet over EtherCon copper and dual LC fiber connectivity.
