Pro Audio Technology and Theory Audio Design have named Rafael A. Nevares president from August 1. His remit includes Pro Audio Technology's high-output cinema systems, Theory's residential and commercial range, and the newly formed Theory Professional business.
Nevares will span product development, sales, marketing, and operations. The brands share Paul Hales' engineering direction but address different channels and project scales, so one executive structure can clarify how products and support move from custom home cinema into professional installation.
The appointment matters because it coincides with the build-out of Theory Professional. Decisions about common design tools, dealer coverage, training, and controller platforms will shape the next phase as much as individual loudspeaker launches.
