SoundTube Entertainment has announced that the CM62-BGM-II-US and IPD-CM62-BGM-II-US in-ceiling loudspeakers are now shipping. Both are manufactured at the company’s Lenexa, Kansas facility under its Made in America initiative and are aimed at projects requiring TAA and BAA compliance.
The two 6.5-inch coaxial ceiling loudspeakers are based on SoundTube’s CM62 platform. The CM62-BGM-II-US is a passive background-music loudspeaker, while the IPD-CM62-BGM-II-US adds SoundTube’s Dante-enabled IPD technology for networked audio, power, monitoring, and control over a single Ethernet connection.
SoundTube frames the models as a response to projects where TAA and BAA compliance are specified from the outset. Its Design Services team also offers complimentary help with product selection, loudspeaker layouts, coverage modeling, and system design, including projects with those compliance requirements.
