Product Overview

The Anakonda-KAN200+ is a passive line-array installation loudspeaker with sixteen 1-inch neodymium drivers distributed along a flexible 2m body. Its articulated construction and outer sleeve allow it to follow curves, columns and furnishings, integrating sound into architectural spaces where a conventional straight column would be difficult to place.

K-array specifies nominal 140° horizontal × 10° vertical coverage, a 150Hz–18kHz frequency response and 108dB maximum SPL. The standard model is 32 ohms for convenient parallel connection. With the K-ANLINK accessory, modules can be distributed across two amplifier channels, and K-array specifies systems of up to 32 modules or 64m total length.

Sixteen drivers in a 2m articulated structure

Sixteen 1-inch drivers are distributed along a 2m articulated body made from PVC and neoprene. A PET outer sleeve covers the assembly, allowing straight, curved or arcing installation so the loudspeaker form can follow the architecture.

Wide horizontal and narrow vertical coverage

K-array specifies nominal 140° horizontal × 10° vertical coverage. The line of small drivers is arranged to distribute sound over a wide horizontal area while narrowing vertical radiation. Because actual radiation changes with curvature and orientation, placement must follow the target audience area as well as the architectural form.

Low frequencies require a complementary system

With a lower frequency limit of 150Hz, the design prioritises mid/high-frequency distribution and visual integration rather than standalone full-range reproduction. Installations requiring music playback or substantial low-frequency output therefore pair it with a suitable subwoofer system according to application and level requirements.

Long systems enabled by 32-ohm modules

The standard model is 32 ohms and supports parallel connection through NL4. K-ANLINK routes each module to amplifier channel 1 or 2, and K-array specifies configurations of up to 32 modules or 64m total across the two channels. This provides a way to cover long architectural features while dividing load and signal management between two circuits.

8-ohm and marine variants

Alongside the standard 32-ohm model, K-array offers the 8-ohm KAN200+8 and the KAN200+8-MA with IP65, anti-corrosion and salt-resistant construction. The same form and acoustic configuration can therefore be adapted to different amplifier layouts and environmental requirements.
