Yorkville Sound has introduced the EXM Pro6 and EXM Pro8 as new additions to its EXM Pro battery-powered loudspeaker family. Both models offer up to 12 hours of battery life, a 3-channel mixer, Bluetooth streaming, wireless stereo linking, and a USB charging port for mobile devices.
Studio Technologies has introduced the StudioComm Model 762, a compact stereo monitor controller for Dante audio-over-Ethernet workflows. Designed for recording, broadcast, post-production, and other professional audio settings, it monitors two stereo Dante sources through one or two stereo Dante loudspeaker systems while keeping the signal path fully digital.
Florida State University College of Music’s Ruby Diamond Concert Hall has installed a new main sound reinforcement system based around L-Acoustics K3i arrays. Designed and installed by Clark using Soundvision, the system addresses the 1,172-seat hall’s need for amplified performance capability while still retracting into the acoustic shell for unamplified programs.
For Vanessa Paradis’ 2026 arena and festival dates, the audio team led around monitor engineer Matthieu Speck has put Sennheiser’s Spectera wireless system into service. The deployment combines Spectera base stations, SEK bodypacks, the new SKM handheld transmitter and Neumann microphones, covering RF operation, in-ear monitoring, audience ambience and instrument pickup in a live touring workflow.
ATSC has completed a major revision of its A/85 Recommended Practice for establishing and maintaining audio loudness in digital television. The first comprehensive update since 2013 addresses changes in broadcast, production, delivery and streaming workflows, including measurement, monitoring, metadata management and dynamic-range control.
