Yorkville Sound has announced the EXM Pro6 and EXM Pro8, expanding its EXM Pro family of battery-powered loudspeakers. The company positions the models for musicians, presenters, educators, and event professionals who need professional sound in a portable, battery-powered format.
The EXM Pro6 uses a 6-inch woofer and is the most compact model in the lineup. The EXM Pro8 uses an 8-inch woofer for deeper bass response while retaining portability, and both models include up to 12 hours of battery life, a built-in 3-channel mixer with integrated effects, Bluetooth audio streaming, wireless stereo linking, and a USB charging port for mobile devices.
For solo music, speaking, fitness instruction, education, and event work, the feature set addresses situations where power access, setup time, and transport load matter. By combining mixing, playback, stereo linking, and device charging in the speaker, the EXM Pro6 and EXM Pro8 support a compact workflow that can be moved and set up quickly.
