Sennheiser’s Spectera wireless system has been adopted for French singer Vanessa Paradis’ 2026 tour across arenas and festivals. The production is being handled by a team including Matthieu Speck on monitors, Julien Decarne at front of house, Nelly Robert on RF and François Kerjan on sequencing. For Paradis, who has normally performed with wired microphones, moving to a wireless vocal mic represents a notable change in stage practice.
The tour package uses two Spectera Base Stations plus a backup unit, 28 SEK bodypacks and two Spectera handheld microphones for vocals, with monitoring run at 96 kHz. Eight Neumann MCM 114 clip-on microphones cover percussion and brass, while four MKH 8018 stereo shotgun microphones capture audience ambience. Two MKH 8018s are set in narrow XY for the tiers, and two more are configured in wide XY for the stalls, aiming to preserve a coherent venue image without clouding the monitor mix.
Spectera’s wideband approach carries bidirectional audio and control data in time slots within a single RF channel, changing the usual coordination workflow. In practice, the tour team points to simpler RF setup, pack deployment and microphone preparation, with less repeated manual synchronization and more attention available for stage control, soundchecks and listening. The system is also used alongside SK 6000 for backline communications, while SEK bodypack controls give musicians some autonomy and Remote Lock lets RF management protect critical functions during the show.
