Audio-Technica’s 20 Series Control Application is a plugin that brings control of compatible company USB microphones into the Elgato Stream Deck environment. It is aimed at workflows such as streaming, recording, gaming, podcasting and content production, where users may need direct access to microphone functions without moving through separate software controls.
The supported microphones are the AT2020USB-X, AT2020USB-XP and AT2040USB. Through drag-and-drop setup, users can assign mute and unmute commands and input-level control to Stream Deck keys, dials or foot pedals. The Virtual Fader can set fixed microphone levels or raise and lower levels in steps with keys or rotary dials. For the AT2020USB-XP, the plugin also exposes Automatic Gain Control and Noise Reduction, including multiple ambient-noise suppression levels or the option to turn that processing off.
The practical value is in placing microphone control inside the same hardware interface creators already use for other production commands. A streamer can mute quickly, a recording user can adjust input level during a session, and a foot pedal can provide hands-free control when needed. The 20 Series Control Application is available through the Elgato Marketplace.
