Calrec will exhibit in Hall 8 on Stand C47 at IBC 2026, presenting a connected audio ecosystem built around Argo. The company positions the system against a broadcast environment split across streaming, social and FAST platforms, where facilities increasingly need to select the right production model for each project rather than build every workflow around the largest possible job.
The stand will combine Argo S and Argo M consoles with an ImPulse IP processing core and the ImPulseV virtualized audio mixing engine. Three Argo consoles at IBC will be connected via True Control 2.0 to a fourth console at Calrec’s headquarters in Hebden Bridge, UK, with a 24-fader Argo M connected to ImPulseV, an Argo S connected to an ImPulse IP core, and a 36-fader Argo M running on internal DSP.
For ImPulseV, Calrec is adding 96-path and 140-path DSP packages alongside the existing 256-path option, with the same feature set including full processing on every path, 5.1 and immersive audio support up to 7.1.4, and real-time DSP allocation across channel and bus paths. Shorter licensing terms of one year, 12 weeks and four weeks, plus deployment on COTS hardware, private cloud, existing processing hardware or distributed resources, give broadcasters more practical room to scale temporary, variable or one-off productions.
