PK Sound has broadened its relationship with Hi, Society Entertainment, an audio, staging and event production provider based in Kamloops, British Columbia. The company has purchased 12 T8 compact robotic line source modules, marking its first adoption of PK Sound’s robotic line source technology.

The T8 modules will operate alongside Hi, Society’s existing PK Sound inventory, including G218 subwoofers, as the company supports concerts, festivals and other events across Western Canada. T8 uses PK Sound’s patented Multi-Axis Robotics to provide remote, real-time mechanical control over vertical and horizontal coverage, helping crews adapt acoustic output to each venue and audience while reducing unwanted reflections and shortening deployment times.

Kellan Sandhu, founder and owner of Hi, Society Entertainment, framed the investment as a step that gives the company more flexibility while preserving the clarity, consistency and impact expected from a PK system. Trevor Grenier, global partner support at PK Sound, described long-term relationships as central to the PK Sound community and positioned Hi, Society’s move into robotic line source technology as the next stage of growth in one of Canada’s important live event markets.
