SV-Audio has named Benno Baun Meldgaard as its chief technology officer. Meldgaard brings loudspeaker and driver-development experience from GamuT, Raidho, Gryphon, and other Danish audio companies, and will lead product design and research.
The role spans acoustic engineering, measurement, prototype evaluation, and the technical decisions required to move a design into production. In a small high-end loudspeaker company, that remit can shape the product line more directly than a conventional management appointment.
No resulting model has yet been announced. The immediate significance is organisational: SV-Audio is adding established external engineering experience to its cabinet, transducer, and crossover development as it grows beyond a founder-centred structure.
