Maslow's Kensington combines meeting rooms, lounges, hospitality, gym and yoga spaces in one private members' house. Tateside has placed the varied conferencing and music systems under a common Q-SYS network and control approach.
Martin Audio serves lounge and event areas, with Sonance and AUDAC used for ceiling and background coverage. Four 1 SOUND subwoofers are integrated into joinery. Nine meeting rooms combine Neat, Airtame and BYOD connections according to room use.
In a mixed-use building, a consistent operating principle as members move between spaces matters more than maximising one room in isolation. The project uses different equipment brands but common control and monitoring, while coordinating loudspeakers, IT and furniture from the design stage.
