Tateside has built a common audio platform across the varied rooms of Selfridges' Oxford Street VIP floor. Limited-edition Klipsch + Ojas kO-R1 loudspeakers hang in the main lounge as deliberate visual objects, rather than equipment intended to disappear.
Martin Audio CDD8B and SX212 systems support events, with CDD6B and SX210 in the Corner Club. Bowers & Wilkins CCM362 ceiling speakers cover private rooms, corridors and fitting areas, while AM-1 and AUDAC WX502 models handle the terraces. Each space receives a loudspeaker chosen for its level, weather and visual requirements.
Dante distributes signals between zones, with a Bose Professional EX1280 and Powersoft Unica amplification at the core. Staff can select sources and levels from iPad, Mac and local wall controls. The result treats retail audio as an operating system for hospitality, DJs and events, rather than as background music alone.
