Ovation Hall at Ocean Casino Resort has replaced a 15-year-old MICA-based system with Meyer Sound PANTHER. The 70,000-square-foot room needed to clear new video walls, restore missing centre coverage, and correct uneven low-frequency behaviour in a wide, short-throw geometry.
Each main hang combines four PANTHER-L and twelve PANTHER-W elements. An ULTRA-X80 handles centre fill, ten ULTRA-X40s cover the front, and further X80/X82 cabinets serve side and VIP areas. Six 2100-LFC units per side are flown, with sixteen more arranged end-fire on the floor.
Five GALAXY 816 processors and one 408 run across primary and secondary Milan AVB networks. After MAPP 3D design, the room was tuned for five seating states from open general admission to full capacity, treating layout recall as part of the permanent installation rather than a touring adjustment.
