Vienna-based Amadeus Acoustics supplied its immersive and active-acoustics platform for the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 main stage at Wiener Stadthalle. ART::IP processors and ART::Director operated in an environment where live reinforcement and a global television production had to coexist.

ART::IP handles a large network of inputs, outputs, and loudspeakers, while ART::Director manages spatial placement and active acoustic behaviour. The system can influence apparent reverberation and decay as well as image location, allowing different programme sections without rebuilding the physical room.

Active acoustics is established in performance venues, but Eurovision adds rapid changeovers and strict broadcast coordination. The deployment shows immersive reinforcement and room-response control converging on the same network platform at a larger operational scale.
