HK Audio has updated its Mac and Windows management application to DSP CONTROL 4.2. The software handles tuning, DSP parameters, and firmware for the company's network-enabled loudspeakers, with this release concentrating on preparation time in larger systems.

A new bulk function updates multiple devices together instead of waiting for each unit to finish before starting the next. Preset capacity also rises to 20 slots per device, making it easier to retain settings for different venues or system configurations on the hardware.

LINEAR 5 MK2 users gain a maximum delay of 50ms, while Milan operation has been refined. French, Italian, Norwegian, and Swedish interfaces are added as well. These are mainly operational changes, but they address the repetitive work that becomes significant when a PA contains many networked enclosures.
