Tom's Guide published the winners of its 2026 TV & Audio Awards on August 10. The 25-product selection spans televisions, soundbars, loudspeakers, AV receivers, and streaming amplifiers. Products appear alphabetically, so the list should not be read as a first-to-last ranking.
Speaker choices include Klipsch The Nines II with Dirac Live and the SVS 3000 Micro R|Evolution, which combines opposed 9-inch active drivers with 1,200W RMS amplification. JBL's Go 5 and Xtreme 5 cover portable listening, while Creative XF1 and Edifier S880DB MKII represent desktop systems.
In soundbars, the editors selected Bluesound's 16-driver Pulse Cinema and Samsung's HW-QS90H. Both aim to keep a television system compact without making separate rear speakers the starting point, although they occupy different price and performance positions.
Other winners include Sonos Play, Denon AVR-X2900H, and WiiM Amp Ultra. Because the awards move from portable speakers to stereo and home cinema in one list, they are most useful as a snapshot of the categories and design ideas drawing editorial attention in 2026.
This is an editorial selection, not a set of products measured under one common test protocol. Connection requirements, dimensions, and local pricing still need to be checked product by product before purchase.
