Colorado Symphony has equipped its full-time musicians with Sensaphonics 3DME Active Ambient in-ear monitoring systems through a hearing conservation initiative developed with the Marion Downs Center. The deployment of 100 systems was funded by a donation in memory of Penny Burke and included on-site hearing assessments, ear impressions and fittings.
AuviTran has presented the production-ready AV-HY64-AVB card, adding AVB connectivity to Yamaha RIVAGE PM series mixing systems. First announced at ISE Barcelona and shown at InfoComm 2026 in the Synthax booth, the card is scheduled to ship in September 2026.
Sony Pictures Entertainment has announced a $100 million strategic investment in immersive technology company Cosm. The investment is part of Cosm’s Series C financing and will support expansion of Shared Reality venues and continued development of the platform behind those experiences.
A background music system built around Powersoft Quattrocanali 4804 DSP amplifiers and Bose Professional loudspeakers has been installed at a COVID-19 memorial park in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Hoàng Phú Sound handled the full audio installation, combining the system with Bose ControlSpace processing and control over a Cisco Catalyst switch.
Two DJ shows at ZAW in Nantes, France used a sound reinforcement setup built around HK Audio LINEAR 5 MK2 loudspeakers. The lineup included DJ Fly, Beat Torrent, Freddy Jay and J.Moses, with 308 LTA tops and 118 Sub HPA subwoofers on the main system and 112 FA loudspeakers used as DJ monitors.
