Video and audio post-production company RLP Media has added an Audient ORIA Mini to a studio of about 33 square metres. Mixed-source material must be prepared for television, YouTube and mobile playback, so room correction and destination checks now sit in one monitoring workflow.
ORIA Mini profiles switch between the normal monitor setup, mono and an equalised approximation of laptop speakers from the front panel. That allows a quick judgement of tonal balance and translation before delivery without repeatedly exporting files to separate consumer devices.
The unit connects digitally to an existing Audient iD44, whose familiar hardware volume control remains in use. Rather than replacing the whole working method, the installation adds correction and profiles where they are useful. Room correction cannot substitute for acoustic treatment, but it can improve repeatability in a constrained space.
