The 3040c is the compact floorstander in Q Acoustics' Concentra range. Two 120mm C3 mid-bass drivers flank a 22mm tweeter in a 2.5-way layout, providing more cone area than a standmount while remaining smaller than the 3050c.
The tweeter is mechanically isolated from the baffle, while P2P bracing and HPE tubes address panel vibration and internal pressure. Specifications are 43Hz-30kHz, 88dB sensitivity and dimensions of 942 x 285 x 281mm including its stabilising base.
Pricing is GBP599 or US$1,099 per pair, with four finishes. A narrow cabinet is visually easy to place, but bass balance still depends on clearance from boundaries. Buyers should compare the real floor area required after positioning, not cabinet width alone.
