Constellation Audio will pair its Statement Series electronics with Wilson Audio's Autobiography at the Hong Kong High-End AV Show. Rather than presenting isolated components, the room is conceived as a reference chain from power and preamplification through power amplifiers to the flagship loudspeakers.
Systems at this level are rarely available for side-by-side comparison, so a show provides an initial view of the design priorities and complete-system behaviour. With large loudspeakers and high-power amplifiers, bass control, image scale and low-level resolution are more useful observations than maximum volume.
The hotel room, installation time and visitor traffic differ greatly from a home. A show impression should therefore create questions for a later audition, ideally in a room of similar size and with familiar recordings, rather than act as a final purchasing verdict.
