Legrand | AV has expanded its existing partnership with Utelogy by integrating Luxul pro AV networking switches into Utelogy’s cloud-based AV management platform. Developed through the Utelligence Alliance Partner Program, the integration is intended to let integrators and operators view network infrastructure alongside AV devices in one interface.
Luxul managed switches are described as engineered for commercial AV applications, with Power over Ethernet, deterministic performance for latency-sensitive traffic and simplified management. The new driver, now available in the Utelogy library, provides real-time port monitoring, live PoE status, firmware management and diagnostics data including temperature, fan speeds, CPU load and uptime. It also supports Utelogy operational modes, allowing monitoring behavior to be adapted during maintenance periods.
Because switches increasingly support AVoIP systems, collaboration rooms and connected devices, the integration brings the network layer into an AV management workflow already used for system oversight. The Luxul integration builds on earlier Utelogy support for Middle Atlantic power products and Vaddio conferencing systems, extending visibility across more of the AV infrastructure in managed deployments.
