LG Electronics announced its flagship LG xboom Power party-speaker series in Seoul on August 17, 2026. The release page was published on August 18. The range comprises the Power 9000, Power 7000 and Power 5000, which LG presents as speakers for gatherings that combine music playback with participatory karaoke, lighting and DJ-oriented entertainment.

At the top of the range, the Power 9000 uses dual 10-inch woofers and dual 1-inch horn tweeters, with 440W RMS continuous output. LG positions it for large-scale parties and outdoor events. The Power 7000 uses one 10-inch woofer and dual 1-inch horn tweeters and is rated at 340W RMS; LG describes it as intended for large gatherings, patios and outdoor entertainment. The Power 5000 uses an 8-inch woofer and dual 2-inch tweeters at 260W RMS, and is positioned for family gatherings, casual celebrations and smaller social occasions.

LG lists Sound Coverage figures of approximately 2,000 square metres for the 9000, 800 square metres for the 7000 and 400 square metres for the 5000. The company says these figures are based on internal testing under specified conditions, including an open outdoor space and a defined volume level, and that actual coverage varies by environment. The RMS continuous-output figures were measured under IEC 60268-3 conditions; LG says actual sound performance depends on content, settings and the usage environment.

Across all three models, LG lists AI Karaoke Master, AI Vocal Remover, Key Changer, dual microphone inputs, DJ Performance Effects and Multicolor AI Lighting. LG also identifies AI Sound and Space Calibration Pro as shared sound features, while Auracast is intended to link compatible LG xboom speakers. Product functions, controls and availability can vary by market.

The series is therefore a three-model party-speaker range for different gathering sizes and settings, built around music playback and shared karaoke or party entertainment.
