Martin Audio loudspeakers were used for Malwanchal University’s 5th Convocation Ceremony in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The event took place in the university’s 2,000-seat Central Auditorium and required speech reinforcement for students, faculty, dignitaries and guests.
The system used two flown arrays, each made up of four TORUS T1215 elements, with Blackline X218 subwoofers added for low-frequency reinforcement. TORUS is described as a constant curvature array intended to bridge line-array and point-source loudspeaker technologies.
Patel DJ Sound director Amit Patel pointed to TORUS’s compact build, output and clarity in the Indore deployment. Malwanchal University is part of the Index Group of Institutions, a central India medical education group with a 65-acre campus serving more than 11,000 students.
