Martin Audio published the system design for Goodlife Festival on August 3. The event returned to Harewood House in Leeds on June 6 after selling out its first edition, this time expanding to a capacity of up to 10,000. Armand Van Helden, Groove Armada and Alison Limerick were among the main-stage acts.

dBS Solutions originally won the tender with a WPC-based proposal. Strong ticket sales enlarged the audience area, prompting the company to revisit the design in Martin Audio DISPLAY. The revised plan moved the main hangs up to WPL and added a delay position for the back of the site.

The final mains comprised ten WPL elements per side. Fourteen SXH218 subwoofers formed a castellated cardioid array across the front of the stage. With the audience area approaching 100 metres deep, a single delay tower carried six WPC elements and a three-cabinet cardioid SXH sub stack.

Ground-stacked TORUS T1230 systems handled outfill coverage, while FP12 cabinets above the subs served the front rows. On stage, XE300 wedges provided monitoring; each DJ fill combined two SXC subwoofers with an FP15. The deployment therefore extended one manufacturer platform across audience fills, low frequencies and artist monitoring.

During the show, the production team checked levels against other tents and the off-site noise limit, making one- or two-decibel adjustments when required. The project shows a capacity increase being addressed through array scale and delay coverage, rather than by asking the original system to play louder over a longer distance.
