The Ted Shawn Theatre at Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival has moved to a new Martin Audio system specified by Audio Inc. The team remodelled the historic venue from top to bottom in DISPLAY, treating audience reinforcement and the unusually important dance-stage monitoring requirement as one design problem.

Six WPM elements per side form the mains, each array incorporating a flown SXC115 cardioid subwoofer. TORUS T820 cabinets cover the rear mezzanine and FlexPoint FP6 units handle the front rows. Six iKON multichannel amplifiers operate across a Dante network.

On stage, four CDD-LIVE 8 loudspeakers per side work with SX212 subwoofers, with XE500 wedges available when required. WPM's rear rejection helps keep the audience arrays from spilling into the dancers' monitoring field, allowing two closely spaced systems to remain more independent and consistent in voicing.
