The QSC CB10 is a recently introduced battery-powered portable point-source loudspeaker. It combines a 10-inch woofer and 1-inch compression driver for a conical 90-degree coverage pattern, and it can be used on a pole, laid on its side, or tilted back 30 degrees as a floor wedge. Its enclosure is slightly smaller than a QSC K10.2, while the built-in lithium-ion battery adds only about two pounds and supports up to 12 hours of playback.
The rear panel provides two combo XLR inputs, a stereo aux input, Bluetooth audio and a 1/4-inch footswitch port. Its single XLR output defaults to a combined mix of all inputs, with routing adjustment available in the QSC Loudspeaker Control app. The app also covers source presets, Custom input tuning, three-band EQ, reverb size and level, input-A ducking, speaker-wide Contour voicing, footswitch assignments and delay up to 200 milliseconds.
In the road test, the controls were described as intuitive both on the cabinet and in the app, with preset EQ and Contour settings providing quick starting points. The reviewer noted strong output for a 10-inch woofer, a vocal-forward balance, useful low end and smoothly decreasing highs toward the edge of the rated 90-degree pattern. The ducker, input-mute and boost options give solo performers and small-event users practical control without adding extra hardware.
