Universal Audio has announced UAD versions of the Black Box Analog Design HG-2 and elysia karacter stereo saturator plugins for owners of Apollo audio interfaces and UAD hardware. Both plugins were developed by Brainworx and focus on analog-style saturation and harmonic enhancement.
The UAD Black Box Analog Design HG-2 provides tube saturation with plugin-only additions including Calibration voicing and an adjustable Air control. Its Pentode and Triode Blend controls shape warmth and grit, while Parallel Saturation adds a separate saturation path that can target lows, the full spectrum, or the top end.
The UAD elysia karacter stereo saturator brings the tone of elysia’s Discrete Class A processors to tracks, buses, stems, and full mixes. Its extended control set includes Density, Air, Calibration, Gain Staging, and Mix. Black Box Analog Design HG-2 is listed at $125 USD MSRP and elysia karacter at $75 USD MSRP, with each carrying a $29 USD MSRP introductory price.
