Audiotool 3.0 is a new version of the company’s browser-based DAW, rebuilt around real-time collaborative music creation. It runs in web browsers and on tablets, with native mobile versions planned to follow.

The platform is described as a low-latency, cross-platform DAW that lets participants join from whatever device they have available. Its Audiotool NEXUS open-source SDK allows creators and developers to build instruments, effects, visualizers, music games, educational content, and hardware-connected apps inside Audiotool, with AI support through MCP and Context I/O for connecting a user’s preferred LLM.

Audiotool also points to its multiyear partnership with the Esports World Cup and its new partnership with Esports Nations Cup as part of the context for online creative communities. Launch partners for NEXUS include Splice, Ujam, BandM8, and Fraunhofer, giving established music technology companies a path into the platform.
