Roig Arena in Valencia, Spain has installed a permanent d&b audiotechnik system to support a growing schedule of concerts, sporting events and international shows. The venue holds up to 20,000 people for concerts and more than 15,000 for sports, with layouts changing by event. The system has already been used for Valencia Basket’s league-title celebration and Rod Stewart’s June 30 concert, described as his only Spanish performance of 2026.

The main PA is built from SL-Series left and right arrays, each using 12 GSL8 modules and two GSL12 modules. Two KSL arrays provide out-fill, two XSL arrays handle wide out-fill, and an SL-SUB system supplies low-frequency reinforcement. Ten delay arrays using CCLi8 cover the furthest zones, while 16 AL90 systems are configured as front-fill and down-fill units. Coverage is managed with d&b ArrayProcessing, adapting sound distribution to each venue configuration.

When not in use, the installation integrates into the venue’s ceiling structure, reducing setup time between events. A custom-developed rigging solution enabled rapid installation inside the arena. Roig Arena’s team cited the goal of consistent audio anywhere in the venue, along with d&b’s efficiency, reliability and standing with major international tours, as factors behind the system choice.
