DHD firmware 10.4 adds configuration and control options across the company's modular broadcast systems. The platform combines surfaces, I/O and routing according to each facility rather than presenting one fixed console, and the update extends that audio-over-IP environment.
Routing App provides a clearer view of network sources and destinations and allows authorised connections to be changed. Where many IP routes replace a physical patchfield, visibility and permission design determine operational confidence as much as raw channel capacity.
A broadcast firmware release must be tested against the exact combination of surfaces, I/O and control computers already in service. Applying it first to a redundant path, backing up configuration and proving a rollback procedure matter more in a 24-hour facility than the feature list alone.
