Midwich Ignite has announced an investment in Forte AI, a platform aimed at automation in professional audio production. Forte AI is based in Turin, Italy, and is positioned around reducing repetitive manual tasks in mixing and audio post production.
The platform consists of two products. fMusic handles mix preparation and stem bouncing for music production, while fPost automates the import and preparation of AAF and PTX sessions for film, television, and gaming post production. Its proprietary on-device AI engine analyzes audio locally, which keeps unreleased sessions private.
The investment is intended to support Forte AI’s product development and its move from music production into audio post production. Forte AI is an Avid Technology Partner, and its products have been available through Avid’s platforms since June 2025.
