Tom's Guide has announced the 25 winners of its 2026 TV & Audio Awards. Presented alphabetically rather than as a ranking, the selection includes new speakers from Klipsch, SVS, JBL, Sonos, Edifier, and Creative.

Alcons theatre system completes 3,967 shows without an array replacement

The Dutch musical Soldier of Orange has ended its 16-year run. Nearly 100 Alcons LR14 cabinets formed 14 L-C-R systems around a 30-metre rotating auditorium, completing 3,967 performances without a single LR14 replacement.

K-array builds a distributed sound system for EDIKTED's New York flagship

EDIKTED's Fifth Avenue flagship has installed a distributed K-array system. Vyper columns, KGEAR loudspeakers, and Rumble subwoofers address a 30-foot, highly reflective interior while providing zoned level control throughout the store.

Martin Audio WPC balances festival coverage with neighbourhood noise limits

At Brighton's Glorious Day festival, dBS Solutions used Martin Audio WPC arrays and a cardioid SX118 subwoofer layout to cover the seafront site while limiting spill toward homes only 60 metres from the stage.

EAW Newport arrays cover Freedom Church's steep 1,000-seat auditorium

Freedom Church in Georgia has opened a 1,000-seat auditorium with an EAW Newport system. Eleven NT206L modules per side cover its steep seating rake, with the top four boxes narrowed from 110 to 80 degrees to keep energy off the side walls.

CODA Audio equips Guiyang's new 12,000-seat indoor arena

Guiyang Olympic Sports Centre's new 12,000-seat arena has installed a CODA Audio system built around 48 APS and 24 HOPS12i-Pro loudspeakers. After an on-site listen, the venue dropped plans to bring in additional rental PA for its opening boxing event.

Goodlife Festival scales its main PA from WPC to Martin Audio WPL

As Goodlife Festival expanded to a 10,000-person capacity, dBS Solutions revised its original Martin Audio WPC design around WPL mains. Ten WPL elements per side and a WPC delay served an audience area approaching 100 metres.

LEA Professional appoints Audium as its distribution partner in Portugal

LEA Professional has appointed Lisbon-based Audium as its distribution partner in Portugal. Audium will carry the Network Connect and Dante Connect amplifier ranges, including their DSP, Dante/AES67 networking and cloud monitoring features.
