GEMS School of Research and Innovation in Dubai has placed LEA Professional Connect Series amplifiers across learning spaces with very different duties. The deployment extends beyond ordinary classrooms to presentation, assembly and performance areas, distributing the required channel count and power around the campus.
Connect Series devices can be configured and monitored over the network, while Dante-equipped versions also place audio transport on the IP infrastructure. Compared with a single central amplifier room, distributed racks can shorten loudspeaker cable runs and limit the area affected by a hardware fault.
Education systems serve many non-technical users and often operate without an audio specialist on site. Remote visibility of temperature, load and faults can reduce downtime more directly than another signal-processing feature. The useful measure will be fewer support calls and fewer emergency visits.
